Castor oil is extracted through the process of cold pressing the Castor Bean. Castor oil is a pale yellow in colour and has a viscous consistency at normal temperatures.

Castor oil is a triglyceride of fatty acids of which Approximately 90% is Ricinoleic acid. Ricinoleic acid has been reported to be effective in many applications and is one of the many reasons people swear by its healing abilities.
